The 9 Phases of Getting Fettled

What to expect when you decide to get work done with us.

Initial Consultation

We like to chat with you and have a look at your van to really get to know what you need/want and how it all might be achieved. Most of our work is custom, no two jobs are the same so we believe this discussion is very important.

Initial Estimate

Once we have a clearer picture of your project we will put together an estimate for your works. We try and include enough detail so you know exactly what it is you're getting, and you have the knowledge you need in case you want to tweak anything.

Deposit Invoice

When you are happy with the estimate and any queries have been ironed out we send a deposit invoice, this is usually 50% of the estimate value however for some jobs we can drop this to 20% depending on the parts required and the size of the job.

Booking In

We work on a queue based system so once you have paid your deposit invoice you will be next in the queue. We give you a rough timeline for when you might be booked in and we arrange drop off dates closer to the time. 

We do this because our jobs are custom, often unforseens can crop up and projects therefore go on for a little longer than we expected.

Drop Off

Well aware of the fact that we are a little bit off the beaten track, we will do our best to assist you in getting your van to us should you need it. When you drop off with us we will just go over everything that is expected again and make sure you're happy with the work we are going to complete.

Ironing out any final queries you may have.

The Work

Whilst your van is with us we will send you daily updates so that you know how we're getting on, and double check anything that isn't in line with original work agreed. Usually updates are sent via whatsapp but we can arrange an alternative if needs be. You can also opt out of the updates if you want a surprise final reveal and we'll only get in touch if we need to know something.

Collection

Once the work is complete we will arrange a collection time with you and send your final invoice. We ask that invoices are paid either prior to collection or on site before taking the vehicle away. We will give you demonstrations on everything we have installed and all manuals will be left in the van.

Six Week Check

Roughly around six weeks after handing the van over we will be in touch to check that everything is going well and ask for any feedback. If there are any issues, we endeavour to get your van back in as soon as we can to solve them for you.

We might also ask you for a review if it's not too much trouble!

Continued Care

We don't just hand you the van over and that's it. We like to be updated on your adventures so please send us pictures and stay in touch! Also if you ever have any issues or forget how something works just send us a message and we'll get back to you as soon as we can.
